G-Model Ultralight Shoulder Rest

$199.00

For violin & viola, completely handmade and eco-friendly in South America using natural, sustainable materials. Starting with reclaimed redwood from the south of Chile - incredibly light and resonant. The curve - designed using Fibonacci’s Golden Ratio - hits perfectly below your collar bone and becomes virtually invisible to the audience.

Attaches to the back of your instrument unlike any other shoulder rest on the market.
Simply:
1. PEEL
…off the feet protectors
2. STICK-ON
…the back of your violin or viola where you would normally place your sponge, shoulder rest. etc.
3. PLAY!

Ultra lightweight at 20/21 grams (less than 1 ounce!) Chilean Redwood adds a layer of tonal richness and can even help your instrument’s overall response.

Using a proprietary NANO-SUCTION adhesive secure enough to prevent the shoulder rest from sliding, but completely adjustable in position - it can easily be “peeled” off the instrument when not in use. All while guaranteed not to leave any marks or residue on your instrument’s varnish.

Paired with our precision-cut Portuguese cork feet, imagine the freedom of playing without a shoulder rest - simply with an added boost in height and even greater support without compromising the sound quality of your instrument.

Can also be used with our three-point elastic band only* (available separately).
*Please indicate when ordering if you would prefer your shoulder rest without adhesive

DETAILS + DIMENSIONS:
Available in three different heights:
LOW (20mm), MEDIUM (25mm), HIGH (30mm)
Length: 18.3cm x Width: 5.5cm (wide side) x Width: 3.5cm (narrow side)
For reference, Violinist Giora Schmidt uses a Medium.

IN THE BOX:
• G-Model Ultralight Shoulder Rest

I have no other words, and am adjusting promptly.”
-Logan C.

“WOW…Amazing!
I have a FAT BUTT viola 11” wide lower bout…nothing has worked on it…until now! Thrilled how the SR fits in both my violin and viola case…AT LAST!”
-John P.

“Way beyond my expectations. I expected it would be comfortable, but I couldn’t believe that I don’t feel fatigue when I play. Definitely worth the money! Great job.”
-Kelvin N.
